Luz Ángela Rojas grew up surrounded by coffee plants, immersed in the nature that witnessed her development, while helping her father with every task the farm required. Her childhood and adolescence were spent amidst the green landscape of the coffee fields, where she learned from a young age the value of hard work in the fields.
During a time of coffee crisis, her parents, seeing how difficult it was to survive in this world, advised her not to stay there. "Study, do something different," they said. The idea was for her to go to university and follow a different path, away from the challenges of the coffee sector. Moreover, being a woman in this world was not easy, as the role of women on coffee farms was generally limited to household duties, looking after children, and maintaining the home.

When trying this coffee we agreed that this is the ultimate early morning kick up the a*** you need.
Vibrant, fruity with balanced acidity we'd suggest either heading down the filter path or if you're feeling dangerous a slightly longer espresso will give you the morning boost you need.
